Mangaluru: St Agnes College observes 'National Voters Day'

Mangaluru, Jan 25: On the occasion of "National Voters Day", Electoral Literacy Club and Agnes Towards Community (ATC) organised a session on the significance of the Voters Day on January 25.

Dr Ganesh Shetty U, HoD of Political Science, Canara College, Mangaluru, was the resource person, who briefed on the efficacy of observing the "National Voters Day" and stressed the need for youths to be active participants in the electoral process and cast their votes to representatives wisely.

On this occasion 'Voters Pledge' was administered by Dr Meera, nodal officer ELC. The programme was coordinated by Dr Shailaja Rai, ATC, coordinator and Dr Meera, ELC, nodal officer. Shebin, of III BA, welcomed the gathering, Niyanth, student secretary, ATC compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
