Udupi, Jan 26: On the occasion of Cervical cancer awareness month, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, is organizing a cervical cancer screening camp on Tuesday, January 28 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at the New OPD of the hospital.

This event, held as part of cervical cancer awareness month, aims to educate the public on the importance of cervical cancer prevention and early detection. The camp will feature a special HPV vaccination drive under the expert guidance of Dr Ranjitha S Nayak and Dr Damayanthi, both renowned consultant obstetricians and gynaecologists.

As part of the drive, HPV vaccines will be offered at a discounted price of Rs 1,600. Eligibility for vaccination includes individuals aged 9 to 26 years, with a two-dose schedule (at 0 and 6 months) for those aged 9–14 years and a three-dose schedule (at 0, 2, and 6 months) for those aged 15–26 years. The camp also offers additional benefits, including 50% discounts on doctor consultations and cervical cancer detection Pap smear tests.
