Bantwal: Bike stolen from residency premises; theft captured on CCTV

Bantwal, Jan 29: A bike parked in front of a residency was stolen on Sunday night, with the theft being captured on a CCTV camera.

The incident occurred near Rathabeedi in Narikombu village, where the stolen bike was parked outside a residency.

The owner, Anand, a MESCOM employee residing in a rented house there, had parked his bike near the roadside as usual after returning from work.

CCTV footage shows a man walking towards the bike with a lighter in hand, starting the vehicle with a key, and riding away.

A case has been registered at Bantwal town police station, and a police team is actively investigating to trace the stolen bike.
