Moodbidri, Jan 7: ‘Shiva the Musical Thunder’ presented by Shiva Fusion Group from Chennai, was the first programme presented on the second day of the ongoing Alva’s Virasat at Shobhavana here on Friday January 6.

The programme held the audience spellbound throughout the show, and kept them thoroughly entertained with the deftness with which the musical instruments were handled, mellifluous music and sheer excellence of presentation.

While the vocal rendering by well-known cine playback singer, Kartik, proved to be excellent, Rafiq Khan on Sitar, Ravichandra  Kulur on flute, cine music director, Benet, on guitar, Jayant Rao on Mridangam, Ankush Nayak on Sitar, William on key board, Jossy on bass guitar, Arun Sukumar on acoustic drums, Chandru Durairaj on Tabla and Tanuja’s Talavadya succeeded in striking a fine fusion, as every artiste complimented each other very well.

‘Spell Bound’, an Odyssey group dance by Ram Li Ibrahim and team from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was the second programme on the line. This programme too emerged as a highly enchanting one because of the skillful presentation.

‘Vismaya Jadoo’ programme, presented by magician, Kudroli Ganesh, of ‘India’s Got Talent’ fame, and colourful dances by students from Alva’s group of educational institutions, also provided an enjoyable experience.
