Mangaluru: Accused absconding for 8 yrs arrested in Sakleshpur

Mangaluru, Jan 29: A team from Mangaluru North police station arrested Kishore Shetty, who had been absconding for eight years in connection with a case registered under IPC Section 174(A) (Crime No. 56/2011) and court case CC No. 4067/2016.

The accused, Kishore Shetty, son of Bhaskar Shetty, residing at Bhaskar Nilaya, JP Nagar, Balupete, Sakleshpur, Hassan district, had failed to appear before the court for several years.

 

As a result, the court had classified the case as an LPC (Long Pending Case).

Acting on directives, a police team led by ASI Gangadhar N, along with head constables Chandras and Sunil, and HC Purushottam, traced the accused and arrested him in Sakleshpur, Hassan district, on January 29. He has been produced before the court.
