Mangaluru: Midnight ritual leads to road closure near Kottara

Mangaluru, Jan 30: In a rare incident, a road near Kottara in Mangaluru was closed on Wednesday midnight for the purpose of exorcism and the expulsion of spirits.

According to local residents, the Abbakkanagar area has been experiencing intense paranormal disturbances. Following a traditional ritual known as Tambula Prashne, it was determined that an exorcism was necessary. Consequently, the ritual was performed on Wednesday night after conducting a Darshana Seve ceremony.

For the safety of the people, local residents themselves imposed restrictions on vehicular movement in the area during the exorcism process.
