Shimoga: Dayanand Kukkaje Bags Best State Level Action Photography Award

Shimoga, Jan 7: Daijiworld’s photographer Dayanand Kukkaje has bagged the best action photography award at the state level contest organized by Sagar Photographic Society here, recently.

For his photograph captioned ‘Bannada Gejje’ Kukkaje won the prestigious award. Under the rural life photography award first prize was bagged by Satyendhar Kumar Nallikoppa, second by Ganesh Kaleesara and third by Sudheer Doddaballapura. Under the pictorial photography, first prize was bagged by Saleem Balabatti,   second by Digwas G H and third by N Raghupati.

The photographers from 15 different districts took part in the contest among which best few were declared the winners and 124 pictures were selected for display by the renowned photographer Jinaraja Hegde.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held at Sagara here on January 26. The display of photographs will be open to public till January 28, informed Sagar Photographic Society president K Chandrashekar.
