Mangaluru, Jan 30: The Mukka campus of Srinivas University witnessed an electrifying inter-department Kabaddi tournament as teams from various institutes competed for top honours on January 25. The tournament showcased intense matches, outstanding performances, and remarkable sportsmanship.

In the men’s inter-collegiate Kabaddi tournament, the Institute of management & commerce emerged as the champions, displaying exceptional teamwork and resilience. The Institute of computer & information science put up a tough fight and secured the runner-up position.

The women’s category saw an equally fierce battle, with the Institute of hotel management and tourism, Pandeshwara, claiming the championship title. Meanwhile, the Srinivas Institute of Nursing, Mukka, finished as the runner-up with an impressive performance throughout the competition.

The tournament not only highlighted the athletic talent within the university but also fostered team spirit and camaraderie among students.
