HDK vows to fulfill Modi’s vision of India becoming a Global Steel Powerhouse

Vishakapatnam, Jan 30: Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister H D Kumaraswamy has vowed to fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India into a global steel powerhouse.

Kumaraswamy, who received a rousing reception on arrival in the steel town of Vishakapatnam on Thursday after announcing Rs 11,440 crore package for the revival of the Vizag Steel Plant, said India aims to achieve the annual steel production goal of producing 300 million tonnes of steel.

At the Gajuwaka Circle, BJP workers and trade union members The honored the minister with a massive garland and raised slogans in praise of Modi and Kumaraswamy, thanking them for the revival of the steel plant.

“The Vizag Steel Plant's revival was part of the plans to ensure that this crucial PSU remains operational. This is a historic decision by Modi’s government," Kumaraswamy said.
