Mangaluru, Jan 31: ‘Celebrating memories, embracing goodbyes’ Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College organized 'Farewell Day' on January 30 in PUC Auditorium, to bid farewell to the outgoing students of II PUC.
The programme began with a prayer service and followed by welcome dance by I PUC students. Mariyam Afeefa of I commerce welcomed the guests, students and faculty members. This was followed by a series of cultural events, including songs, dances and skits performed by the students. Students of I science enacted a mime depicting, there are no shortcuts to any place or position worth going, it’s through hard work only we can achieve success in lives.
Sr Violet Tauro AC, joint secretary, Ladyhill Institutions, was the chief guest. PTA vice president Dhanalakshmi, vice president of alumnae association Reshel Bretny Fernandes, and vice principal Sr Shermila AC graced the occasion.
The highlight of the programme was the felicitation ceremony, where the outgoing students were honoured with certificates. The students were also given an opportunity to share their experiences and memories of their time in the college.
Sr Violet Tauro AC, praised the students for their good behaviour, motivated and shared words of wisdom and encouraged the students to pursue their passions and dreams. She also blessed them for their future endeavours. Principal Sr Ujvala AC congratulated each and every student for successful completion of two years. She also emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance and teamwork in achieving success. She also encouraged the students to stay connected with their alma mater and give back to the community.
Harshitha and Ahana PS compered the programme. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Asiya Falak who thanked the students, guests and faculty members for making the programme successful.
The farewell programme was a memorable event that marked the end of an era for the outgoing students. The programme was a celebration of the students achievements and a tribute to their hard work and dedication. The college wishes the outgoing students all the best for their future endeavours.
