Kundapur, Feb 3: The traditional day was celebrated meaningfully on Saturday, January 1 at Gurukul Public School, Vakwadi Koteshwar.

The programme was presided over by Anupama S Shetty, the joint executive director of Gurukul Vidya Sanstha. In her address she said that it is our responsibility to preserve our culture and tradition by instilling the principles of our Sanatan Dharma in the children and by instilling them in them. She gave prizes to the students who won in various cultural competitions and wished the rest of the children to take them as inspiration and achieve their goals. Sweets were distributed to the students on the occasion of the traditional day. A traditional exhibition was also organized for the parents.

The highlight of the program was the proud recipient of the 2024 Karantha Bal Puraskar Award, Sanidhya, who was felicitated respectfully in front of her parents.

Sunil Patrick, the school principal, teaching staff, students and parents were present on this occasion.

Faculty Ashwini narrated the programme and gave the vote of thanks.
