Daijiworld Media Network – Kundapur

Kundapur, Feb 3: Even after a month, there is no trace of Narayan Mogaveer (58), a resident of Gangolli, who went missing after accidentally falling into the sea while fishing on a boat.

The incident occurred on January 2 when Narayan Mogaveer slipped and fell into the Arabian Sea near Gangolli while fishing on the 'Sarvamangale' boat. Fishermen, the Gangolli coastal security police, and a team led by expert diver Dinesh Kharvi conducted an extensive search for nearly a week, but their efforts were in vain.

With no clues about Narayan Mogaveer’s whereabouts, his family remains in deep sorrow. Fisheries minister Mankal Vaidya visited the family and handed over a compensation cheque of Rs 10 lac from the government. Additionally, the Dr G Shankar Family Trust in Ambalpady, Udupi, has also extended support to the family. However, the uncertainty surrounding Narayan’s fate continues to cause distress to his loved ones.
