Mangaluru, Feb 4: Lourdes Central School, Bejai, has secured the first place in the basketball championship organized by Benjamin Memorial Sports Foundation and St Aloysius Gonzaga School.
The school's high school boys and girls teams, as well as the primary school boys and girls teams, emerged as winners in their respective categories.
The winning students and physical education teacher, Veerendra Alva, were congratulated by the school manager, Fr Dr J B Saldanha, and principal, Fr Johnson L Siqueira.
