Bantwal, Feb 5: District in-charge minister Dinesh Gundurao addressed a range of public issues at the district-level Janatha Darshan event in B C Road, emphasising the government’s commitment to solving people’s problems and rolling out district-specific schemes. "Our main goal is to identify issues and deliver solutions. With the success of guarantee schemes, our government has set a national example," Gundurao said.
Officials urged to be people-friendly
Gundurao called on officials to be approachable and responsive. "Officials must be humble and patient, even in situations where solutions are not immediately possible, to earn the trust and respect of the public," he added.

Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik expressed his frustration over delays in issuing land records despite repeated requests, recalling how two families had come to him in tears.
He also pointed out the absence of invitations for elected representatives at official events, stressing that cooperation between officials and lawmakers is key to district development.

Key issues addressed
The event saw over 75 grievances, including issues like harassment in Nerenmbolu, delayed loans in Kaladka, and flood relief demands from Golthamajalu. Immediate responses were given, and 94 C land records and other official documents were distributed.
