Mangalore, Jan 10: The Arts faculty of St Aloysius College has announced the two- day National level, inter-collegiate fest, ‘Art-beat 2012’ to be held at the college premises on  February 3 and 4.

The fest sets the platform for students from all over the country to display their skills and talents through sixteen vibrant events.

This year the theme of Art Beat is ‘GreenoMania,’ based on a futuristic ideal world which aims to form through protection and preservation of resources and the environment at large. The focus is on how a little step of each person can lead to a leap into a greener tomorrow.

There are interesting list of events are lined up, keeping the green concept in mind.

The events of GreenoMania 2012 incude Ad Making, Photography, Mime, Street play, Graffiti, Wealth out of waste, Movie Spoof, Instrumentals, Best Contender, PPT·Painting, Gaming, Quiz, Best Personality, Debate and Dance

Different colleges from India are invited to participate in the event and display their talent.

    it's great to see the students interested and participating in art. unlike some other schools in India that only care about the core subjects. and it's great that India is improving and are getting the students to participate in things such as art. this is really great.
