Goa, Feb 7: In a shocking incident of road rage in Sangolda, two tourists from Nashik, Maharashtra Faiz and Arkan Shaikh were arrested for allegedly assaulting a local car driver. The duo, riding a rented bike, attacked the driver with fists and helmets following a collision between their bike and the car.

The altercation, captured on camera, has sparked widespread concern over growing tensions between locals and tourists in Goa. The Saligao Police swiftly intervened, taking the accused into custody and registering an FIR against them.

The superintendent of police, North Goa, confirmed the arrests on social media, assuring strict action against such violent incidents. The local community has strongly condemned the attack, calling for better measures to ensure tourist accountability and road safety in the state.
