Mumbai, Feb 8: St Lawrence High School, Borivali, won the prestigious Mintonette Cup 2025 in the U-14 Girls category. This volleyball tournament held on January 31 and February 1 witnessed the participation of over 75 teams from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad, all competing for the championship titles.
St Lawrence claimed this title by defeating North Point School, Koparkhairane, in the final match with a score of 25-09, 25-20.

The team received a prize of Rs 25,000. Apart from team accolades, individual excellence was recognized with the following prestigious awards across all four categories:
- Best Spiker: Richa Dhapse
- Best Setter: Lehar Wagela
- Most valuable player of the tournament: Richa Dhapse
Richa Dhapse and Lehar Wagela have been selected to receive advanced training and the opportunity to compete in an international tournament under foreign coaches. Their entire travel expenses will be covered by the Mintonette+ Academy.
The tournament was graced by esteemed dignitaries and sports legends, including Padmashri Dhanraj Pillay Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee, former India Hockey Captain.
St Lawrence High School extends its heartfelt congratulations to the girls' volleyball team for their outstanding performance.
