Three including two women reported missing in Udupi

Udupi, Feb 8: Three people, including two women, have been reported missing from different locations in Udupi district.

Ramesh Poojary (45), who was working at a hotel in Belagavi, went missing on January 30. He had returned to his home in Bavalaadi Navodaya Colony, Bijoor village, that morning. He left his bag at the doorstep and told a rickshaw driver he would be back after paying the fare, but he never returned. Anyone with information is requested to contact Byndoor police station.

Chandrika Maddeppa (32), a resident of an apartment in Manipal, has been missing since last year. She left home for work but never returned. Anyone with information can contact the Manipal police station at 0820-2570328.

Jayalakshmi (65), a resident of Manchikodi, has been missing since August last year. She had been undergoing treatment at the district hospital for a mental health condition over the past four years. After having dinner at her home on August 30, she went to sleep but was found missing the next morning. A case has been registered at the Manipal police station.
