Bengaluru, Feb 16: The deadline for submitting applications for admission to various professional courses, including engineering and medical programmes, has been extended until February 24.

Initially, the last date for application submission was set for February 18. With the extension, the fee payment deadline has also been pushed to February 25.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) executive director H Prasanna stated, “Even if candidates have taken the NEET exam for admission to medical, dental, and AYUSH courses, it is mandatory to submit an application through the examination authority for securing medical seats in the state.”

Candidates who have already submitted their applications can modify their details if necessary.

Document verification will be conducted at the college level, and candidates are advised to carry the required documents as per the respective schemes, he added.
