New Delhi, Feb 21: The long arm of the law has finally caught up with Zoya Khan, the infamous ‘Lady Don’ of Delhi. Delhi Police arrested her earlier this week for possessing 270 grams of heroin valued at approximately Rs 1 cr.

Zoya, wife of dreaded gangster Hashim Baba, had been evading the police for years while secretly managing her jailed husband’s criminal empire. She was nabbed in the Welcome area of North East Delhi, reportedly caught red-handed with heroin allegedly sourced from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Known for her underworld connections, Zoya took over Hashim Baba’s illicit businesses, including drug trafficking and extortion, after his incarceration. Police sources revealed that she operated much like Haseena Parkar, sister of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim.

Hashim Baba, a notorious gangster, faces multiple cases, including murder, extortion, and arms smuggling. Zoya, his third wife, married him in 2017. She frequently visited him in Tihar Jail, where he reportedly trained her in coded communication and the handling of gang finances.

Despite her deep involvement in crime, Zoya maintained a high-profile lifestyle, attending lavish parties, wearing designer outfits, and flaunting luxury brands. Her family, too, has a history of criminal activities—her mother was arrested last year for alleged sex trafficking, while her father was linked to drug networks.

Last year, Hashim Baba’s name surfaced in the Nadir Shah murder case, where he reportedly made a ‘judicial confession’ implicating gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Police suspect Zoya was also involved in key gang-related operations and interrogated her in January regarding the case.

Authorities are now investigating further links to drug cartels and organized crime, with Zoya likely facing strict legal action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
