Mangaluru, Feb 23: Tensions have flared in Karnataka’s coastal region as miscreants vandalise the sacred cross at Kuduremala, Shirva, in Udupi district.

AP Monteiro, youth lawyer and general secretary of the Mangalore Catholic Sabha (R), has condemned the act and called for the immediate arrest of the culprits.

Monteiro urged authorities to act swiftly to restore peace, warning that failure to address the incident would lead to large-scale protests against the district administration
