Mumbai, Feb 24: Adani Electricity has reaffirmed its industry leadership by securing top rankings in three independent national assessments conducted by the Ministry of Power, the company announced on Monday.
The power utility has been recognized as India's top-performing distributor after achieving the highest rankings in the 13th Integrated Rating Exercise by the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for operational excellence, an A+ grade in the Consumer Service Rating of DISCOMs (CSRD) by the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) for outstanding customer service, and the Number One Urban and Overall Utility in the first-ever Distribution Utilities Ranking (DUR) Report for FY 2023-24.

The DUR report, a comprehensive evaluation of India's power distribution sector, consolidates insights from previous assessments while incorporating additional key performance indicators such as Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO) compliance, Communicable System Metering, Demand Side Response, and Resource Adequacy Planning. These assessments promote transparency, accountability, and continuous innovation in the industry, driving India towards a more sustainable energy future.

• RPO Compliance: 100%
• Communicable System Metering: 100%
• Resource Adequacy Planning: 91.7
The company achieved a perfect score in communicable system metering, highlighting its leadership in digital transformation, with 100% of feeders and distribution transformers equipped with smart metering technology. Additionally, full compliance with RPO targets underscores its commitment to integrating renewable energy and promoting sustainability.
