Udupi, Feb 24: The Bhoomi Pooja and foundation stone laying ceremony for the 25th project of Archana Projects, ‘Archana Grand Kanak,’ was held on February 23 at Manipal-Alevoor main road, Manipal.
The foundation stone was laid by Dr Aravind Nayak Ammunje, managing partner.
The ceremony began with the traditional Bhoomi Pooja ritual, followed by a formal event.
Dr Raviraj N S, chief operating officer of MAHE Manipal, inaugurated the formal event by symbolically lighting the lamp and releasing the project brochure.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Raviraj said, “Of the 108 important Upanishads, 10 are considered more significant. The Ishavasya Upanishad is the foremost among them, emphasizing that every movement in this world is guided by a higher force. The very act of us gathering here is not coincidental; it is predetermined. Those who will own homes here are already destined to do so. This 25th project and the future projects under Archana will prosper.”

The Bhoomi Pooja ritual was performed by priest Shivanand Bhat. The event was compered by Rekha Pai and Prashanth.
