Mangaluru: Blood donation, free medical camp held by Pilaru Yuvaka Mandala

Mangaluru, Feb 23: As part of its golden jubilee celebrations, Pilaru Yuvaka Mandala organized a blood donation and free medical camp in collaboration with Yenepoya Medical College, Deralakatte, on Sunday. The event was held from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community.

The inauguration was carried out by Meenakshi Sitaram Shetty of Pilaru Megina Mane. Other dignitaries present included Chandrakant, proprietor of Click Caterers, Puttu, proprietor of OFC, Harish Mundoli, president of Munnuru Yuvaka Mandala, along with Dr Pramod and Dr Mohammed Sali from Yenepoya Medical College.

Camp details:

  • Free eye check-up and distribution of spectacles
  • Dental check-up
  • Complete health screening

Pilaru Yuvaka Mandala president Yashavanth Shetty, secretary Dhanaraj, honorary president Gajananda Gatti, treasurer Naveen Salian, and all members of the organization played a key role in organizing the camp.

Several teams extended their support by donating blood, including Sai Parivar, a district Rajyotsava award-winning group, Om Friends Ashraya Colony, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Friends Club, Lakshmigudde.
