Udupi, Feb 26: The inauguration of the renovation of the Sri Hosa Marigudi temple, built entirely with stone, commenced on February 25 with a warm welcome to the priests. The event began with the Brahmakumbhabhisheka ceremony and other rituals.

Under the guidance of Vedamurthi K G Raghavendra Tantri and led by the temple's chief priests, Vedamurthi K P Kumaraguru Tantri, the main priest Vedamurthi Srinivasa Tantri, along with the cooperation of the temple authorities, started the religious rituals. The development committee, Brahmakalashotsava Committee, and the managing committee office bearers welcomed the priests who conducted the religious ceremonies.

Subsequently, rituals like Rithvilarvana, Vishwakarma Puja, and others were performed. A series of Havan ceremonies, including the 24 Kayi Ganayaga, were conducted, with the fire being lit through the process of Arani Mathana.
