Bengaluru, Feb 27: Kanara Entrepreneurs (KE) held their first Members Meet of 2025 on February 21 at The Grand Magrath. In an inspired theme, the meeting was meant to ignite progress in members’ businesses through brainstorming & problem solving as a team.

The evening commenced after the KE prayer, which was led by lead member Stan D’Souza. The new member induction that was guided by Leena Lobo (director membership), saw 15 new members from diverse fields adding to the richness of the KE community. Leena very kindly invited the KE brand ambassadors to take center-stage along with the newly inducted members, to acknowledge their efforts in promoting the KE brand as well as enhancing the member experience.

A key facet of KE member meets is the active opportunity to interact with and support each other’s growth. KE director mentoring, Pramod D’Souza facilitated the next segment of the evening, a very productive, table brainstorming over two main topics, ‘Scaling Your Business’ and ‘Talent and Leadership’ across 23 table teams. Lead members Clarence Pereira, George Timothy and Nivedith Alva deliberated over the presentation of solutions from every table and awarded the top two teams with prizes for their unique solutions as well as timely delivery.

KE president, Claudius Pereira, delivered his address next, with a resounding message that left a significant impact for entrepreneurs, to grab opportunities with both hands and act on it. As usual, Claudius’ stories deliver inspiration through engaged storytelling and energy.

Lead member Eugene Mathias then followed with some key announcements of events in the pipeline that would be of interest to the members – namely the upcoming Founders’ Fiesta and the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) 2.0 in March, including an early bird offer for registrations on the evening till Sunday.

Standing in solidarity with common cultural roots, Robert Cutinha, KE member and chairman of FKCA (Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations) extended a special invite to all KE members to attend the screening of Konkani movie ‘Payann’ on March 2 at St Joseph’s University Auditorium.

Dr Bryan Menezes delivered the vote of thanks for an evening complete with stimulating brainstorming, member contribution and interesting solutions. It was a very well-organized evening indicative of the meticulous planning from the board of directors, volunteers, and tech teams (sound, lighting and photography). Luvena Rangel, was the emcee of the evening that was crisply held to time as well as the active attention of the members from start to finish.

A successful members meet in a refreshing format, a sure shot recipe for improving the quality of events for the benefit of the KE members.
