Udupi, Mar 2: Renowned Indian cricketer and T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav visited Kaup Marigudi Temple along with his wife Devisha Shetty during the Gadduge Pratishtha celebrations.
Suryakumar Yadav, whose wife hails from the coastal Karnataka region, had previously visited the temple and even contributed a pillar as part of the temple’s development. Upon seeing the under-construction Kapu Mariamman Temple, he expressed his amazement and appreciation.



Suryakumar Yadav promised to return during the Brahmakalashotsava festival for a special visit and prayers. Yadav had also praised the Kapu Mariamman Karnika during his previous visit. Incidentally, after his earlier visit to the region, he was appointed as the captain of India’s T20 team.
As part of the welcome committee's celebrations, Suryakumar Yadav and his wife were honoured for their visit to the temple.
