Brahmavar, Mar 3: A 73-year-old bike rider, Balakrishna Shetty, died on the spot after being hit by a speeding car on National Highway 66 near Rudset Cross Junction in Brahmavar.

The tragic accident occurred while Balakrishna was riding his bike when a car collided with him at high speed, leading to his immediate death.

A case has been registered at the Brahmavar police station, and further investigation is underway.
