Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust announces opening of Breastfeeding Centre

Mangaluru, Mar 3: Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust is proud to announce the inauguration of a dedicated Breastfeeding Centre at the Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC), Jeppu, Mangaluru. The centre will be officially inaugurated on March 6 at 11 am by M Arun Aithal, hereditary managing trustee, Mahathobhata Shree Mangaldevi Temple, an effort to promote the health and well-being of mothers and children in the region.

This initiative comes as part of Moolathva Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering mothers with the necessary tools, information, and resources for successful breastfeeding. The centre aims to provide essential support, guidance, and counseling to new mothers to ensure they are well-equipped to nourish and care for their newborns.

Prakash Kotian, founder of Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust, said, "Breastfeeding is one of the most natural and important ways to provide infants with the necessary nutrition in their early stages of life. This centre will be a safe space where mothers can access expert advice, overcome challenges, and be encouraged to continue breastfeeding. It is our mission to create a healthier future by supporting mothers in this crucial phase of their child’s development."

Moolathva Foundation’s collaboration with the Urban Primary Health Centre ensures that this service will be easily accessible to mothers in the Jeppu area and surrounding regions. The centre will be equipped with modern facilities to make the breastfeeding journey as comfortable and informative as possible for both mothers and children.
