Mangaluru, Mar 3: A shocking incident has come to light in Mangaluru where a man from Uttar Pradesh died by suicide, alleging he was exploited by a CISF woman officer.
The deceased, identified as Abhishek Singh (40) from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, was found hanging in a lodge near Rao & Rao Circle in the city. Before taking the extreme step, Abhishek recorded a video on Instagram, sharing his ordeal.
Abhishek, who was employed with a private company in Chennai, had travelled to Mangaluru along with his colleagues to participate in an exhibition.
In the video, Abhishek accused CISF assistant commandant Monika Sihag of deception. He alleged that despite being married, Monika concealed her marital status and developed a relationship with him.
The local police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the allegations and circumstances surrounding Abhishek's death. Further details are awaited.
