Mangaluru, Mar 4: St Teresa Church, Paldane, celebrated Community Day with great devotion and togetherness. The day began with a Holy Mass led by Fr Praveen Leo Lasrado, secretary of the Catholic board of education, Mangalore diocese.
In his sermon, Fr Lasrado emphasized the importance of living with love and harmony, urging everyone to refrain from highlighting others' faults. Instead, he encouraged self-reflection and personal growth as a means to bring positive change to society.
The event was graced by Fr Alban D’Souza, the parish priest, along with Elias Fernandes, vice president, Austin Monteiro, secretary, and Joslyn Lobo, coordinator of all commissions.
As a symbol of unity, a community meal prepared by parishioners was shared among all attendees, enhancing the spirit of fellowship and togetherness.
