Dubai, Mar 5: Virat Kohli once again showcased his brilliance in a high-pressure chase, scoring a valiant 84 to guide India to a comfortable four-wicket win over Australia in challenging Dubai conditions.

Lauding Kohli’s masterful knock, former Australian captain Michael Clarke hailed him as the ‘greatest ODI cricketer of all time.’ Kohli’s calculated innings, featuring just five boundaries, highlighted his adaptability on a tricky surface.

"Once again, he assessed the conditions brilliantly and delivered when it mattered most. He has every shot in the book and knows exactly how to win games for India," Clarke told Jio Hotstar.

Shreyas Iyer played a crucial role in India's chase, stitching a vital 91-run stand with Kohli after early wickets threatened a collapse. Clarke praised Iyer’s aggressive approach, stating that his intent complemented Kohli’s experience perfectly.

"A partnership like that was match-winning. Had Australia broken it earlier, the game could have gone the other way," Clarke added.

With yet another iconic knock in a big match, Kohli reaffirmed his status as India’s ultimate chase master.
