New Delhi, Mar 6: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has stated that former US President Donald Trump’s tenure was favorable for India, highlighting strong bilateral ties and cooperation during his administration.
Speaking at an event on Wednesday, Jaishankar emphasized that India benefited from strategic and economic partnerships under Trump’s leadership. He noted that both nations worked closely on trade, defense, and global security, reinforcing India's position on the world stage.

The minister also stressed the importance of strengthening the global financial system, citing it as a key priority for India. “In an era of economic uncertainty, ensuring a robust and fair financial structure is essential for sustainable global growth,” he remarked.
Jaishankar’s comments come at a time when India continues to expand its diplomatic and economic outreach, focusing on partnerships that enhance global stability and economic resilience.
