Mangaluru, Mar 10: Nitesh Belchada (19), a resident of Arke Padu in Mooduperar village and a paramedical student at a college in Neermarga, has been missing since February 13. There has been no clue regarding his whereabouts so far.
Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader has now directed the city police commissioner to form a special team to trace the missing student. The recent case of missing youth Diganth had gained state-wide attention and was successfully resolved. Following this, Nitesh’s family has also been urging authorities to intensify efforts to locate him.

On February 13, Nitesh returned home from college but left without informing anyone and never returned. He is 5.5 feet tall, has a wheatish complexion, and a medium build. On the day he went missing, he was wearing a red T-shirt and white pants. He is fluent in Kannada, Tulu, and English.
A missing person complaint has been registered at Bajpe police station.
