Bantwal, March 9: Lavina Mariette Vegas, an assistant professor at St Joseph’s University, has been awarded a PhD for her thesis titled "Modified Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotube-Based Systems for Catalyst and Transparent Conducting Electrode Applications".

She completed her research under the guidance of Dr Moti Krishna Mohan from Christ University, Bengaluru.

Lavina, who is originally from Modankapu in Bantwal taluk, received her doctoral degree for her significant contributions to the field.
