Muscat: Kudla Friends Present Various Sports Tournaments

Muscat, Jan 16: The members of Kudla Friends - Muscat are all set to present and organize the first of its kind Cricket, Volleyball (men),  Throw ball (women) and Tug of War tournament (men and ladies)  events for the members of the expatriates families from the twin districts of the Konkan Region, Mangalore and Udupi.

The cricket tournament will be held on at GPDCO Cricket Ground, Ghubra on Friday January 27.  Volleyball, Throw ball and Tug of War will be held at Muscat Sports Club Grounds at Wadi Kabir Grounds on Friday February 3.

“This is a great opportunity for the different Mangalorean Communities to come at one venue and spend good times with families and friends”, said one of the senior member of the Kudla Friends. “This tournament is restricted only to the teams comprising the Mangaloreans from Udupi and Mangalore districts.  We request  the different  communities of the Mangalore region to participate in this event.”, he added.

Participating teams are requested to submit their registration to suraj.rebello@gmail.com or srikant.shetty@gmail.com or yuvisalian@gmail.com  indicating the team name, names of the team members, team manager and coach on or before January 21.
