New Delhi, Mar 14: The Central government has prepared a comprehensive roadmap to restore peace and normalcy in Manipur, a senior official confirmed on Thursday.
Amid ongoing tensions and sporadic incidents of violence, the Centre has been actively engaging with stakeholders to implement measures aimed at stabilizing the situation. The roadmap includes strengthening security deployment, enhancing dialogue between communities, and accelerating development initiatives to rebuild trust among residents.

"The government is committed to bringing lasting peace in Manipur. Efforts are being made to address the root causes of the conflict while ensuring the safety and well-being of all citizens," the official stated.
The move comes after months of unrest in the state, prompting intervention from both state and central authorities. Community leaders, civil society groups, and security agencies are being consulted to ensure an inclusive approach to resolving the crisis.
Officials remain optimistic that with sustained efforts and cooperation, normalcy will gradually return to the region.
