Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes inter-college case study analysis event

Mangaluru, Mar 17: Srinivas University, Institute of Management of Commerce, department of BCom in collaboration with My Logic ACCA, successfully organized an inter-college case study analysis event on the theme ‘Empower’ as part of the college fest on March 13. It was witnessed by the esteemed presence of Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean of IMC; Dr Shailashree V T, research coordinator of Srinivas University; and judges Leena, Prof Deeksha Rao, Evita Veigas, and Karthik Rohith. Additionally, James, academic head of My Logic; Prof Kausthub Puthran; and Prof Sheesh Ahmed, ACCA trainers, graced the occasion.

The competition was conducted in two rounds. The first round involved a case study discussion where participants analysed different scenarios, followed by a panel discussion with the judges, allowing students to clarify their doubts regarding ACCA, career prospects, and future goals. The second round was a role-play challenge, where teams were given a case study and had to defend their stance effectively. The event saw enthusiastic participation from various colleges, showcasing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Nitte College emerged as the winner, while Srinivas University Pandeshwar, secured the runner-up position.

The event was a grand success, providing students with an excellent platform to enhance their analytical and decision-making abilities. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants, judges, and guests for making the event a memorable and enriching experience.

The event was organized under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh S Amin – dean, Prof Sharmila S Shetty- HOD of BCom, Prof Yashaswi A Ail - ACCA course co-ordinator, all the faculty members and My Logic, ACCA team.
