Mangaluru: Case filed against Chakravarthy Sulibele for alleged provocative speech

Mangaluru, Mar 17: A case has been registered against Chakravarthy Sulibele at Ullal Police Station for allegedly making a provocative statement against another religion during a religious event at Koragajja Kshetra in Kuthar.

Congress leaders filed a complaint on Sunday, accusing Sulibele of delivering a communal hate speech aimed at disturbing social harmony. The complaint was lodged under the leadership of Ullal City Congress President Mustafa Abdulla.

Several Congress leaders, including Usman Kallapu, Ayub Manchila, Dinesh Kumpala, Rashid Yusuf, Rahman Kodijal, Chandrika Rai, Surekha Chandras, and Abdul Jabbar, were present during the complaint filing.

Following the complaint, an FIR has been registered at Ullal Police Station, and further investigations are underway.
