Udupi, Mar 18: Continuing its commitment to support education and community welfare, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) donated laptops and desktop computers to S N Mudbidri Polytechnic, Moodbidri, and the Manipal police station on March 12.
Donation to S N Mudbidri Polytechnic, Moodbidri
MAHE donated 20 laptops and 20 desktop computers to S N Mudbidri Polytechnic, Moodbidri, to enhance the institution's technological infrastructure and support its academic endeavours. The handover ceremony was attended by Prof Tarina Noronha, principal of S N Mudbidri Polytechnic, and J J Pinto, former principal, along with other staff members.
Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor, Dr Raviraja N S, chief operating officer (COO); Sathish Kamath, deputy director-IT; and Surendra Nayak, senior systems executive, were present during the ceremony.
Donation to Manipal police station
In a separate event, MAHE donated 2 desktop computers to the Manipal police station to support their administrative and operational efficiency. The donation was accepted by Sudhakar Mukka and Sukumar Shetty, representing the police staff.
The ceremony was graced by Dr H S Ballal, pro chancellor; Dr Raviraja N S, COO; Dr Dilip G Naik, pro vice chancellor; Mangaluru campus, Dr Vinod Nayak, advisor, sports council; Sathish Kamath, deputy director-IT; and Surendra Nayak, senior systems executive.
