Udupi: District administration clears illegally occupied government land at Malpe beach

Udupi, Mar 18: On the directives of the deputy commissioner, unauthorized structures, including shop sheds and houses, constructed on government land at Malpe beach in Kodavooru were removed and restored to government possession.

The district administration has clarified that no private individual is allowed to illegally occupy government land and in cases of unauthorized occupation, strict legal action will be taken.

The tahsildar office has stated that these offenses are punishable under the law.
