Chandigarh, Mar 19: The Punjab government is set to launch a massive anti-drug movement across the state starting April 1, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced on Tuesday.
Speaking at a public event, Kejriwal emphasized the government’s commitment to eradicating drug abuse, which has been a major concern in Punjab. He stated that the campaign would involve extensive awareness drives, strict enforcement against drug trafficking, and rehabilitation initiatives for affected individuals.

"The entire government machinery will be mobilized to ensure a drug-free Punjab. We will take strict action against drug peddlers and ensure necessary support for those struggling with addiction," Kejriwal said.
The campaign will include active participation from police forces, local administration, and social organizations. Authorities have assured that a comprehensive strategy will be in place to curb the drug menace and protect Punjab’s youth.
