Bengaluru, Mar 19: Former South African cricketer and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) legend AB de Villiers has expressed confidence in the team’s chances of lifting their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title this season.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, de Villiers stated that RCB has built a well-balanced squad with a strong mix of experienced players and promising youngsters. He emphasized that the team's improved depth in both batting and bowling could finally help them break their long-standing title jinx.

“This time, the squad looks solid. If they can play as a unit and handle pressure in crucial moments, they have a real chance to go all the way,” de Villiers said.

RCB, which has seen several near-misses in past seasons, will be aiming to make a strong statement in IPL 2025. Fans are hopeful that with star players stepping up, the team can finally claim its first championship trophy.
