Udupi: Sarvottama Shetty's mother Saraswati Surappa Hegde passes away

Udupi, Mar 20: Saraswati Surappa Hegde, a centenarian from Pariya Chennibettu in Udupi district, passed away on Thursday, March 19, at the age of 102.

She is survived by her son, Sarvottama Shetty, former president of UAE Bunts Association and current president of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha, along with three other sons, two daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.

UAE Bunts Association president Vakvadi Praveen Shetty and office bearers have expressed their condolences on her passing.
