Special express train to run between Mysuru & Karwar for Ugadi, Ramzan festivals

Udupi, Mar 21: To accommodate the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Ugadi and Ramzan festivals, the railway board has approved the operation of a one-trip special express train between Mysuru and Karwar.

The details of the special train service are as follows:

Train no 06203 Mysuru – Karwar Express Special will leave Mysuru at 9:35 pm on March 28 and reach Karwar at 4:15 pm on the next day. In the return direction, Train no 06204 Karwar – Mysuru Express Special will depart from Karwar at 11:30 pm on March 29 and arrive Mysuru at 4:40 pm on the next day.

En route, the train will halt at the following stations in both directions: Mandya, KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Kunigal, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantawala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road and Ankola.

The train will consist of 21 coaches, including, 1 AC 2 tier cum AC 3 tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 13 sleeper class, 2 general second-class and 2 SLR/D coaches.
