Christ School Manipal holds graduation day for kindergarten students

Udupi, Mar 22: Christ School Manipal held its graduation day for kindergarten students with great enthusiasm and grandeur, centered around the theme ‘Together with’.

The event commenced with an impressive guard of honour, accompanied by music and a dignified procession of dignitaries, teachers, and students, including the chief guest Fr Santhosh A, pastor in-charge UBM Christa Kripa Church Manipal, correspondent Fr Romeo Lewis, principal Eliza Vaz and Alwyn Saldana, secretary, parish Pastoral Committee.

The correspondent, Fr Romeo Lewis, shared valuable reflections during his presidential address, emphasising the importance of education and culture.

The cultural programme showcased the talents of the kindergarten students, featuring performances such as a prayer song by KG1 students, a preschool dance, Tamil and Hindi dances by KG1-A, the “Together” song, dance, and skit by KG2 and KG1-B students.

Convocation certificates were distributed to the students, marking an important milestone in their academic journey.

The principal, Eliza Vaz, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and the gathering. The honorinug of the chief guest was carried out by the correspondent and the principal, following which the chief guest delivered an inspiring message, praising the school’s coordination with the community.

Pavithra anchored the programme, and the event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Rashmi D’Souza.

The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic development, fostering academic excellence, cultural pride, and strong values among its students. It was a day of celebration, joy, and pride, marking the first step in the lifelong journey of learning for little graduates.
