Mangaluru, Mar 22: Carmel School Kotekar celebrated UKG Graduation Day. The event commenced with a grand entrance by the young graduates, who walked in with pride, accompanied by the esteemed chief guest, Dr Mario Joseph Bukelo, consultant paediatrician and neonatologist, along with other distinguished dignitaries—Sr Juliana Mary AC, joint secretary, Sr Pramila AC, the principal, and Sr Fidele, KG coordinator. The moment was made even more special with the uplifting melodies of a live band, setting a jubilant tone for the celebration.

The programme began on a spiritual note with a heartfelt prayer dance, seeking divine blessings by students as they embarked on a new academic journey. This was followed by a vibrant welcome dance, beautifully performed by the students, extending a warm reception to the gathering.

Sr Pramila D'Souza AC, the principal, extended a gracious welcome to the esteemed guests, parents and students. She gave a special introduction of the chief guest, Dr Mario Joseph Bukelo, a distinguished consultant pediatrician and neonatologist at KMC and Athena Hospital, Mangalore, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to the medical field.

In a unique and heartwarming touch, LKG students took on the role of masters of ceremony, skillfully anchoring the event with confidence and enthusiasm. They also showcased their talent through an energetic action song, filling the atmosphere with joy and excitement.

The UKG graduates expressed their gratitude through a touching word of gratitude, followed by a lively dance performance that radiated energy and happiness. Their appreciation for the unwavering support and guidance they received was beautifully conveyed through a sweet Thank You Song. The celebrations continued as the graduates returned to the stage for yet another spectacular dance performance, marked by precise formations and boundless enthusiasm.

The chief guest, Dr Mario Joseph Bukelo, then addressed the gathering, offering profound insights into the common challenges faced by the younger generation and providing practical advice on overcoming them. He congratulated the graduating students on their milestone achievement and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their academic journey.

The most awaited moment of the event—the graduation certificate distribution ceremony—was a sight to behold. The young graduates, accompanied by their proud parents, walked onto the stage to receive their certificates, symbolising their successful completion of kindergarten and their transition to the next phase of schooling.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Preema teacher, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, parents, and students for making the event a memorable one.
