Udupi, Mar 23: A goods lorry overturned while trying to avoid a collision with a bike near Ashirvad, Santhekatte, on Sunday, March 23.
The accident occurred when a two-wheeler rider suddenly entered the national highway from a service road. In an attempt to avoid the collision, the lorry driver applied sudden brakes and lost control of the vehicle.
Due to the impact, the lorry overturned, injuring the driver.







A total of six people were injured in the accident, including the driver, four workers, and the bike rider. The scooter was also crushed after coming under the lorry.
Social worker Vishu Shetty Ambalpady rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a private hospital in Udupi.
