Srinivas University organises mehandi and hairstyle competition

Mangaluru, Mar 27: The BCom department, IMC department, and Srinivas University women cell jointly organized a mehandi and hairstyle competition on March 24, providing students with a platform to showcase their artistic and creative talents. The event saw active participation from students, who displayed remarkable creativity in both competitions. The Mehandi competition featured a variety of intricate designs, ranging from traditional to contemporary styles. Simultaneously, the hairstyle competition witnessed participants exhibiting innovative and elegant hairstyling skills.

The competition was judged by Prof Sushmitha, HOD of BAJMC, and Prof Diya Shetty, who evaluated the participants based on creativity, design intricacy, presentation, and overall aesthetic appeal. Their expert judgment helped in selecting the best entries in each category. The competition not only encouraged students to explore their artistic abilities but also promoted a spirit of healthy competition and cultural appreciation.

The organizing committees extend their heartfelt gratitude to the participants, judges, faculty members, and volunteers for their collective efforts in making this event a resounding success.

The session was organized under the guidance of Dr Venkatesh S Amin – dean, Prof Sharmila S Shetty - HOD of BCom, Prof Yashaswi A Ail - ACCA course co-ordinator, Prof S Seethalaxmi - women cell co-ordinator.
