St Agnes College conducts ‘Master your interview: Resume & job prep workshop’

Mangaluru, Mar 27: The placement and career guidance cell successfully conducted a workshop titled "Master your interview: Resume & job prep workshop" on March 26 in Avila hall. The session aimed to equip students with essential skills to enhance their employability and confidence during job applications and interviews.

The resource person for the workshop was Caroline Maria Pais, a Life skill facilitator and an advocate. She provided valuable insights into various aspects of job preparation, including:





• Application Tracking System (ATS): Understanding how recruitment software filters resumes and how to optimize them for better visibility.

• Standard resume drafting: Key elements of a professional resume and common mistakes to avoid.

• Interview etiquette: Proper conduct and professionalism during an interview.

• Interview skills: Strategies to confidently answer questions and leave a lasting impression on recruiters.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Deeksha, assistant professor, SP department. Following an engaging and informative session, a Q&A segment was conducted, allowing participants to clarify doubts and gain deeper insights.

The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prima, assistant professor, food and nutrition department, expressing gratitude to the resource person and participants for their active involvement.

Feedback collected from attendees indicated that the session was highly informative and beneficial in preparing them for future job opportunities.
